Since the COVID pandemic, the working pattern for our clients changed, meaning that both were working nearly full time from home. There was limited space to set up an office in the house, so with Finch Partridge they designed an office on the site of their dilapidated garage which provided ample space for them both to work. Storage was provided to the rear of the building, making best use of the existing access. Clad in Cedar at the front and maintenance-free weatherboards across the sides and rear, this room was fitted with air conditioning, providing a year-round comfortable working space.
